Terms of Service

What Activated is

We run a platform that connects creators with brands, venues and events. Businesses post campaigns, creators apply, and the two sides agree the work. We also host communities and chat, list events and tickets, and let people offer and request services (Resources).

We are the venue, not a party to your deals. When a business selects you, the agreement about what you deliver and what you receive is between you and that business, on the terms shown in the campaign. We provide the introduction, the tools, the record of what was agreed and, where they are switched on, the payment rails.

Your account

• You must be at least 20 if you live in Thailand, and at least 18 anywhere else. A business account must be opened by someone allowed to act for that business.
• Give accurate information. Inflated follower counts and borrowed portfolio work are grounds for removal — businesses rely on what you say. Audience numbers are labelled by where they came from.
• Your account is yours. Do not share your password, and tell us if you think someone else has it.
• One account per person or business, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

What you post

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You give us a licence to host, display and translate it on the platform so it can do its job — showing your profile to businesses, your message in a community, your work in a campaign submission. That licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies in routine backups and work you delivered to a business, which stays with them as the campaign agreed.

We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive people. Do not post anything that:

• Is not yours to post, or infringes someone else’s rights.
• Is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening, or sexually explicit.
• Misleads people about who you are or what you have done.
• Is spam, a scam, or exists mainly to move people off the platform.

You can report any message from another person and block them (tap the message → Report). We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these terms, and remove people who post it. Blocking hides that person’s messages from you; they are not told.

Campaigns and deliverables

• Applying is not acceptance. A business decides, and may decline without giving a reason.
• If you are selected, deliver what was agreed, on time, and disclose the commercial relationship (for example #ad or “gifted”) wherever the law or the platform you post on requires it.
• A business has five business days to approve submitted work or ask for changes. It gets one round of changes, asked for together. After that, it either approves or asks Activated to review the work against the original brief; our decision then settles it. Anything outside the agreed brief needs a new agreement.
• Repeatedly failing to deliver, or not showing up to visits you committed to, affects your reliability record and can end your access.
• Businesses must describe campaigns honestly and give or pay what they promised.

Payments, fees and refunds

Card payments run through Stripe, under Stripe’s own terms. Where we charge a fee or commission, the amount is shown before you commit, and we do not change it for something already agreed. During the pilot, no fees are charged.

• Event tickets — the organiser decides refunds and can refund a ticket through Activated. If an organiser cancels an event, they must refund every paid ticket; tell us if that does not happen.
• Services (Resources) — payment for a service is arranged directly between you and the provider, outside Activated, and so are refunds. We are not a party to that payment.
• Memberships — when offered, memberships are sold on the website only, renew automatically until cancelled, and can be cancelled at any time; access continues to the end of the period you paid for. Prices can change, but not mid-period, and we tell you before a change affects you.
• Chargebacks — disputing a charge instead of contacting us first may suspend your account while we sort it out. Talk to us; it is faster.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account, or by following these steps. If you have a live commitment (selected creators, event guests, community members), you are asked to close or hand it over first. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and where it is reasonable we explain why first.

Obligations that should outlive the account do: delivering or paying for work already agreed, and the limits below.

What we do not promise

The platform is provided as it is. We do not guarantee that you will be selected for campaigns, that a business or creator will be good to work with, or that the service will never be down. We are not responsible for what other users do, on or off the platform.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the preceding twelve months, or USD 100. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or takes away rights the consumer law where you live gives you.

Disputes

If something goes wrong between you and another user, try to resolve it directly first. For campaign work we review disputes against the original brief, as described above. Otherwise we help where we can — we hold the record of what was agreed — but we cannot compel anyone to pay. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the US state in which Activated Creators Global, LLC is organised, and its state and federal courts have jurisdiction over disputes with us. If you use Activated as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and may bring a claim in its courts.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the app before they take effect; continuing to use the platform after that means you accept them.
